Science class this morning was all about digestion.
We used some scissors to cut a piece of bread up like our front teeth, then we used a fork to mash up the pieces of bread with a banana like our back teeth and added water as saliva.
We then put all the food in a bag added vinegar as the stomach acid and squeezed it and mushed it around like the work of the stomach.
then the food was put into a tight leg as the intestine and we squeezed it down, squeezing all the good stuff out (the liquid) leaving the waste in the tight leg.
Finally, we cut the bottom of the tight leg and 'Had a poo' it was very interesting.
We then labelled the digestion system on a cut-out and coloured it in
