Science class was all about Christmas this week.
We made a Christmas Tree that will come to life!
We decorated the plate, and put cotton wool down for the tree covered in snow, then wet the cotton wool and added some cress seeds. When I get home I must keep the cotton wool damp so that the cress seeds will grow.
We then made some stars by making a star shape with bent cocktail sticks, When we added the water they should swell and move into a star shape, Mine didn't work very well.
Finally, we had some snowmen and when we added vinegar to them they fizzed and bubbled up and melted away, it was great fun seeing them melt away.
